Relevance

Among them, the military units of the Alashorda government or the history of the Alash regiments still require further research.

The events of the Civil War of 1918-1920 or the years of civil resistance are often called in historical literature the “war of the whites and the reds”. However, the events of this Civil War do not tell about the participation of national squads of minor nations of the Russian Empire, about their exploits.
In general, from archival data and periodicals of that period, it is clearly seen that the military actions of the Alash regiments took place during the years of civil resistance and conflicts of 1918-1920.
The history of the military units of the Alashorda government can be considered as one of the periods in the military history of the Kazakh people.
The monographic work published as a result of these studies can be used for lectures and practical classes in the educational process of universities and military educational institutions. The research materials are of great theoretical and practical importance in domestic science and in educating the younger generation in the direction of patriotism.
