"Bolashak", which opened the way to global education

In the walls of Shakarim University, a meaningful information session was held with the participation of representatives of the "Bolashak" International Program Center. Faculty members of the university, young scientists and researchers, students took part in the educational meeting.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of the International Program Center "Bolashak" Kaisar Yerkinbaev and General Manager of the International Cooperation Department Ainur Nurmukhametova specially came to the event and freely exchanged opinions with the participants.

The vice-rector for strategy and social development of the university Askar Kasymov, who opened the curtain of the meeting, offered the first speech to Olzhas Beisenbayev, the head of the youth policy department of Abay region. In his speech, he said that this meeting was not organized by chance, only recently he established contact with the center and made a proposal to widely introduce the innovations of the "Bolashak" program to the youth of the region. The proposal received prompt support, and the special visit of the center's representatives is a manifestation of the program's special interest in the country's youth.

During the meeting, the guests provided comprehensive information about the requirements for awarding the "Bolashak" scholarship, the principles of candidate selection, interstate grants and international education opportunities. According to the speakers, more than 14,000 Kazakhs have studied at the world's leading educational institutions within the framework of the program, which has been implemented since 1993. Competition among candidates is also very high.

The main advantage of the program is comprehensive support for candidates. Tuition fees, travel expenses, visa processing, medical insurance are fully financed by the state. This is a great opportunity for demanding young people.

New directions and priorities of the program were widely introduced during the event. Talented young people who have proven themselves in international Olympiads can apply for the "Bolashak" scholarship even at the bachelor's level. In addition, the allocation of special quotas for the fields of artificial intelligence and nuclear energy is an important step taken in accordance with the needs of the times.

According to experts, there is a great interest among Kazakh youth to study at leading universities in the USA, Great Britain, Canada, France and Germany.
