The teacher's way is a lesson for generations

Shakarim University, in cooperation with the Department of Education of Abay region, on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the birth of Professor Kinayat Shayakhmetovy, a graduate of the university in 1963, an outstanding scientist who worked tirelessly for 55 years at the educational institution, the excellence of education in Kazakhstan and the USSR, winner of the "Y. Altynsarin" medal, candidate of philological sciences, professor Kinayat Shayakhmetovy held a republican scientific-practical seminar.

Scientists and experienced teachers from leading higher educational institutions of the country participated in the educational event. In particular, associate professor of KazNU named after Al-Farabi, candidate of philological sciences Asel Kinayatkyny Shayakhmet, L.N. Head of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics of Gumilev Eurasian National University, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Kanysh Tileuzhanuly Bibekov, Kazakh language and literature methodologist of the "Teaching content in secondary education" department of the regional innovation-methodical center Dana Otynbaeva, as well as university teachers and teachers of the Kazakh language and literature of regional schools joined together.

At the opening of the seminar, honored figure of Kazakhstan, doctor of philological sciences, professor Arap Espenbetov and head of Kazakh philology department, candidate of philological sciences Gulnur Saganaeva gave a congratulatory speech and emphasized the immeasurable work of Kinayat Shayakhmetuly in the field of science and education.

In his speech, Arap Silamuly focused on the human nature of his contemporary colleague, his teacher's character, and fondly recalled his knowledge and common sense. He revealed the secrets of the scientist's life and shared his interesting memories:

"It is a great honor for me to have served together with Kinayat Shayakhmetuly, who is skilled in his work, clean and intelligent. Those unforgettable years are one of the brightest periods of my life. I hope that the moral path of Kiekeng, who was a teacher of teachers, will be continued by his students," he concluded.

During the seminar, scientific reports were heard and topical issues of philological science were widely discussed. Elmira Samekbaeva, senior lecturer of Kazakh philology department, associate professor, candidate of philological sciences "K. Shayakhmetovy and the linguistic concept: at the crossroads of new scientific directions" distinguished the place and significance of the scientist's heritage in modern linguistics and comprehensively analyzed the continuity of his scientific findings with today's research.

And Kanysh Bibekov, in his report on "Professional development of teachers and the mutual continuity of certification", focused on the main mechanisms of quality improvement in the education system and proved with concrete examples the interrelationship between the process of evaluation and improvement of professional competence of teachers.

In addition, reports were read on the topics of "Methodological innovations and possibilities of artificial intelligence for training gifted students", "Literary theory: understanding, analysis, creativity", "A sample of academic writing according to international standards", the participants exchanged opinions on the direction of combining the traditional foundations and modern trends of philological education, modernizing the scientific heritage, and improving the teacher's experience.

Asel Kinayatovna expressed her gratitude to the organizers and participants of the seminar and expressed her gratitude for the respect shown to her father's work.
