Another wave of young professionals went to the big life

According to this year's tradition, the graduation ceremony of "Graduation 2026" for graduates of Shakarim University was held.

At this important event, 1904 graduates of Shakarim University graduated from this academic year and became masters. Among them, 1,773 graduates received a bachelor's degree, 122 received a master's degree, and 23 young scientists completed a PhD. The best 188 students were recognized as worthy to receive a special diploma. A total of 1,307 full-time undergraduate students studied, 881 of them received a state grant, 113 received a mayor's grant, 14 received education from the "People of Kazakhstan" fund, and 4 graduated from the rector's grant.

At the ceremony, the Rector of Shakarim University, Duman Orynbekov, congratulated the graduates and highlighted the achievements of the educational institution.

-I want to start my congratulations with important news. According to the results of the international Times Higher Education Sustainability rating published on June 24, Shakarim University was included in the top 10 universities of Kazakhstan. In the rating of more than 1,600 universities of the world, we appeared in the 801-1000 place. This is, of course, the result of the joint work of university teachers, scientists, employees, students and graduates who gathered today for this special moment.

That's why today is not just a graduation ceremony. This is a bright reflection of your contributions to the history of Shakarim University,- he said.

In his address to the graduates, the rector also noted that all graduates of the university are very necessary for the development of the country, and therefore calls for them to be highly responsible and dedicated qualified personnel, and expressed his sincere gratitude to the parents.

-Dear graduates!

Today, each of you will receive a letter from the rector along with the diploma. Keep that letter. Over the years, the day will come when I will open it and read it again.

So take a bold step. Set big goals. Keep developing constantly.

For graduates who have received their diplomas and said goodbye to their student days, this day is a special moment full of joy and excitement. One of them is Aibar Tokenov, a graduate of the "Training of Physical Education Teachers" educational program.

- During these four years, Shakarim University gave us not only quality education, but life education and rich experience. This environment greatly influenced my personality development. My future goal is to get a master's degree and further improve my education. If that plan doesn't work out, I want to go to the village and use my knowledge for the benefit of the country. During my student years, I fulfilled the standards of a candidate for sports mastery in Kazakh wrestling and judo. The support of the university and the work of my teachers are great for these achievements, - says the young specialist.

Talgat Zhusipbayev from Karagash village of Ayagoz district said that he was particularly happy about the success of his grandson Aygerim Talgatova.

– Today my grandson successfully graduated from Shakarim University and received his diploma. He studied at the educational program "Foreign language: two foreign languages" and today he is a young specialist who is fluent in English and Turkish. I believe that this is the result of his efforts and research, as well as quality education and moral education of university teachers. We are grateful that we have studied in such an educational institution and have developed in all aspects. I believe that my grandson will become a qualified professional who will strengthen his wings, achieve great heights in any field and contribute to the development of his country. I express my sincere gratitude to the management of the university and the community of teachers, - he said.

Although the brightest pages of student life have become history, today is the beginning of a new life. Behind every diploma lies hard work, good wishes of parents, teacher's teachings and youthful dreams. Now that dream has turned into big goals, and there is a lot of hope that the graduates of Shakarim University will use their knowledge for the benefit of the country and make their own contribution to the development of Kazakhstan, regardless of the region or field they work in.
