“Made in Kazakhstan” is a new stage in the development of a national quality brand
At a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov set the task of turning the “Made in Kazakhstan” sign into a full-fledged national quality brand. It is expected that this mark will become for consumers a symbol not only of the country of origin of the product, but also of its high quality, safety and manufacturer responsibility.
In this regard, the Government will develop a comprehensive program to support and promote domestic products. It provides for expanding the presence of Kazakh goods in the domestic market, developing national brands, promoting products to foreign markets, as well as protecting the reputation of domestic brands.
One of the key directions of state policy remains the creation of fair conditions for the development of domestic producers. Expanding access of Kazakh products to retail chains, supporting production, developing the processing industry and increasing the output of products with high added value will contribute to the country's sustainable economic growth.
The government emphasizes that choosing domestically produced goods is not only the acquisition of quality products, but also a contribution to the creation of new jobs, increasing tax revenues, developing domestic production and strengthening the competitiveness of the national economy.
Particular attention is also paid to the issues of protecting Kazakhstani brands from unfounded information attacks. Any criticism must be based on objective facts, be balanced, evidence-based and conscientious. This approach will ensure fair competition and strengthen consumer confidence in domestic products.
The government considers expanding the export of Kazakhstani finished products as one of its strategic objectives. To achieve this, domestic manufacturers will be provided with comprehensive support in matters of certification, logistics, product promotion and entry into international markets.
Economic patriotism is not unconditional support for any domestic product, but respect for high-quality national production and the desire for its further development. The “Made in Kazakhstan” brand should become a symbol of quality and trust for consumers, and for the country – an important factor in sustainable economic growth and increased international competitiveness.
