The Constitution is a solid foundation of statehood

At Shakarim University, in honor of Republic Day, an intellectual and educational week is being held entitled “The Republic and the Constitution: a responsible citizen is a strong state.”

One of the first events of the week was a round table for teachers and students on the topic “The Constitution is a solid foundation of statehood.” The meeting was organized by the Student Administration of the university, which contributed to strengthening the connection between youth and experienced specialists.

The meeting was attended by the chairman of the Semey city branch of the “Adilet” party, Aidos Toleukhanov, and the director of the Youth Resource Center of the region, Abay Alibi Abduraimov.

The main goal of the meeting was to increase the legal literacy of young people and strengthen their sense of patriotism. The participants thoroughly discussed the significance of each article of the Basic Law in the life of society, the importance of the rule of law and the value of civic responsibility.

“Respect for the Constitution begins with knowledge and compliance with legal norms, understanding one’s rights, as well as respect for the rights of other citizens. The role of young people in this matter is special. After all, today’s students are the country’s future specialists, active participants in state and public life,” Alibi Batyrzhanovich noted, emphasizing that the stable development and future of the country directly depend on legal literacy, civic position and the responsibility of each person to society.

Such meetings provide significant support in the formation of young people not only as educated people, but also as responsible citizens who are not indifferent to social processes.
