Collaboration combining education and social support
A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Shakarim University and the KSU “Center for the provision of special social services and active longevity No. 3 of the city of Semey, Abay region.”
The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Shakarim University Dinara Ospanova, Vice-Rector for Strategy and Social Development Askar Kasymov, Head of the Competence and Career Development Center Lazzat Gabdullina, as well as the director of the Center for the provision of special social services and active longevity No. 3 Dariga Abaykyzy.
The new partnership is aimed not only at expanding educational opportunities, but also at creating conditions for the active life of representatives of the older generation, their mastery of new knowledge and skills, as well as participation in various social initiatives. At the same time, cooperation will create new opportunities for university students to acquire practical experience and participate in socially significant projects.
The main goal of the memorandum is to strengthen mutual cooperation between the parties, exchange experience and implement joint projects in the social sphere.
Within the framework of cooperation, priority attention will be paid to the development of professional and social competencies of students, their acquisition of practical experience, the organization of interaction with representatives of the older generation, as well as the joint implementation of socially significant social initiatives.
One of the important areas of partnership will be the development of interaction in the field of education, educational activities and social services. In this direction, it is planned to widely use the capabilities of the Shakarim University “Silver University” project.
Today, the “Silver University” is becoming a significant educational platform, providing representatives of the older generation with the opportunity to gain new knowledge and master modern skills. The project provides language courses in Kazakh, English and Turkish, digital literacy classes, as well as seminars on psychological health.
In the future, it is planned to expand the content of educational programs and implement new courses and projects aimed at mastering practical skills that are in demand in the everyday life of the older generation.
The signed memorandum will be an important step in the development of partnerships in the field of education and social services. The exchange of experience and the implementation of joint projects will create new opportunities for representatives of different generations and emphasize the value of lifelong education as an important component of modern life.
In the future, the parties intend to expand areas of cooperation and implement new socially significant initiatives.
