Meeting after half a century
A special meeting took place at Shakarim University, which gave warmth to the heart. Graduates who graduated from the Semipalatinsk Pedagogical Institute named after N.K. Krupskaya 50 years ago, we gathered again within the walls of our native educational institution.
During the meeting, graduates recalled the bright moments of student life and honored the memory of the teachers who guided them on their life path.
Particular attention was paid to memories of inspiring lectures and the spiritual atmosphere of the Faculty of Philology. Graduates recalled with great warmth how they studied with outstanding figures of Kazakh science and culture, famous personalities of our nation. Among them were one of the founders of Abai studies, scientist and teacher Kayum Mukhamedkhanov, the famous teacher Kinayat Shayakhmetov, as well as Kuandyk Faziluly, the grandson of the outstanding representative of Kazakh spirituality Mashkhur-Zhusup Kopeev.
During the meeting, cultural figure Kusmiliya Nurkasym focused on the educational traditions of that time and the role of teachers in the formation of personality, noting the special respect of that generation for science and knowledge. According to her, the lectures were not just a transfer of knowledge, but a real school for the formation of a worldview.
This meeting, filled with wisdom, was not limited to just memories, but also became a vivid manifestation of the continuity of generations, respect for knowledge and sincere devotion to the university. For graduates, this meeting became a special moment, which not only revived the past, but also reawakened the longing for their native nest.
