"Ulken Altai - 2026": Agreement focused on the future
Representatives of Shakarim University were part of the delegation from Abay region to the "Greater Altai - 2026" international interregional cooperation conference held in Altai, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.
During the visit, a total of seven cooperation documents were signed. Six of them are investment-oriented memorandums, and one document was formalized as a framework agreement in the field of education.
The agreement on cooperation between China's Xinjiang Altai Vocational and Technical College and Shakarim University not only strengthens the relationship between the two educational institutions, but can be said to be an important step towards combining the vocational education system with international experience.
Within the framework of the agreement, in the future, Shakarim Higher College and Xinjiang Altai Vocational and Technical College intend to prioritize the effective use of common educational resources, increase the quality of education, develop scientific research, and train qualified specialists with an international outlook.
Member of the Board of Directors of Shakarim University Meruert Makhmutova, member of the Board, vice-rector for internationalization and innovation Erasyl Dulatbay and director of Shakarim Higher College Toty Abdikarimova took part in the agreement making event.
One of the important areas of cooperation is the academic exchange of teachers and students of Shakarim Higher College. Through this initiative, teachers of both countries will have the opportunity to share experience and conduct scientific research. And students get to know the educational environment and cultural features of another country, opening the way for professional and personal development. In addition, scientific conferences, joint research projects and cultural events are also planned.
According to the agreement, a special working group will be created and the implementation of joint projects will be systematically coordinated. The term of validity of the document is set for three years, and the directions of cooperation in the future period will continue with the mutual agreement of the parties.
This agreement made in Altai is an important initiative that brings together borders through education, combines experience through science, and opens up new opportunities for the young generation. This step of the university in the international space is aimed at expanding the development horizon of Shakarim College and paving the way for regional education to harmonize with the world level.
