The principles of fight against corruption were considered
At Shakarim University, a meaningful and relevant training seminar was held on the topic "Compliance against corruption: legal regulation and best practices". This event was organized in the direction of one of the most important issues in today's society - prevention of corruption and formation of culture and consciousness against it.
The seminar was conducted by Zhanar Kabidullakyny, the head of the public association "Independent Research Center", a member of the Republican Association of Business Trainers, and the first speech was presented to Ruslan Sharipov, the head of the Department of the Public Service Affairs Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Abay region, the chairman of the Ethics Council.
In his speech, Ruslan Sharipov focused on the initiatives of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the National Assembly and noted that the uncompromising fight against corruption is one of the main priorities of the country's strategic development. According to him, in order to establish the rule of law and create a just Kazakhstan, first of all, it is necessary to destroy the roots of corruption. In this direction, specific tasks have been assigned to state bodies.
Also, the speaker noted that the concept of the anti-corruption policy for 2022-2026 will be completed this year and said that public opinion is of great importance in defining priorities for the new period. He invited the participants to an open exchange of opinions and urged them to express their suggestions and wishes.
Arman Dzhemagulov, acting head of the Internal Policy Department of Abay region, emphasized the importance of ideological and corruption prevention in the region. According to him, the fight against corruption should not be limited to legal measures, but should affect the public consciousness and system of values.
And Marat Seyilkhanov, the representative of the Department of Economic Investigation in Abay Region, paid special attention to the new threats of modern times. He noted that criminals are improving cyber fraud schemes using artificial intelligence. Cheating using dropper systems, deepfake technologies, theft of money and data is becoming an actual problem today. He said that the automation of criminal activities imposes new requirements on the field of law enforcement.
During the event, Aigerim Aitmoldina, prosecutor of the Department of Criminal Prosecution and Supervision of Legality of Pretrial Investigations, Gulmira Bairkenova, Associate Professor of the Department of Jurisprudence of Sarsen Amanzholov University of East Kazakhstan, Candidate of Law, and Alua Sabalakova, Senior Lecturer of the State Administration Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Abay region, deeply analyzed the problems of fighting corruption and its prevention, and by introducing effective measures in the society presented specific proposals aimed at increasing trust and ensuring the rule of law.
At the meeting, issues of modernizing methods of anti-corruption culture formation, strengthening of educational work and improvement of systematic training mechanisms were widely discussed. These directions will be the basis for changing the public consciousness and strengthening the principles of honesty.
In general, the fight against corruption is a common task not only of state bodies, but of the whole society. The role of educational organizations in this direction is special. Because it is in this environment that the legal culture and civil responsibility of future specialists are formed.
This seminar held at Shakarim University is one of the important events aimed at glorifying the principles of honesty, confronting modern challenges and finding effective solutions.
