Shakarim University - at the exhibition of the international ecological summit

International exhibition RES 2026 EXPO, organized within the framework of the regional ecological summit, which is taking place in Astana, has become a platform that combines green technologies and ideas of sustainable development. This is not only an exhibition of innovations, but a unity of science and industry, which feels responsible for the future of humanity.

Shakarim University, one of the leading higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan, is actively participating in the large-scale event. The university's scientific potential and research directions are presented at the international level, and the possibilities of domestic science are widely promoted.

On behalf of the university, vice-rector Zhanar Kalibekovyna, scientific secretary of the Dissertation Council for "Production and processing industries" Almagul Nurgazezova, head of the center for training and certification of scientific personnel Samat Kasymov, director of Shakarim Lab scientific center Alexey Klivenko and doctoral student Bibi Anarbekovyna are participating in the exhibition.

The main feature of Shakarim University at the exhibition is that the proposed projects are not only theoretical, but are aimed at solving real industrial and environmental problems. One of them is the project of developing a network of automated bioreactors for continuous production of biogas and fertilizers. This initiative paves the way for introduction of waste-free technologies in agriculture.

At the same time, the project of a facility with an automated control system, which effectively combines wind and solar energy, is of particular interest. Such solutions allow for stable electricity and water supply to remote rural areas.

Food safety and production of ecologically clean products were not left out of the attention of university scientists. The technology of worm production using secondary milk raw materials, studies in the direction of assessing the safety of dairy products enriched with biologically active additives are evidence of this.

Issues of efficient use of natural resources and waste recycling are among the proposed projects. Innovative technologies for processing metallurgical production waste and by-products of the oil industry are aimed at reducing the environmental burden.

And the "FitoLife" natural vitamin tea project is a new product that shows the harmony of science and nature. This project is not only for consumers who lead a healthy lifestyle, but also a bright example of effective use of domestic plant raw materials.

In addition, comprehensive biotechnological solutions aimed at producing high-value-added products by recycling lignocellulosic waste are attracting the interest of visitors to the exhibition.

For Shakarim University, participation in the RES 2026 EXPO not only shows achievements, but also opens the way to find new partnerships and establish new scientific contacts.
