One pillar of Kazakh-Turkish friendship is TİKA
A group of dignified guests from Turkey, who have long considered the Kazakhs as their brothers and sisters, with a common language, specially came to Shakarim University and showed sincere support for another important step of the foundational educational institution. In the 3rd educational building of Shakarim University, the grand opening of the Turkish language classroom was held with the participation of representatives of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency.
At the moment of the presentation of the important event, Fuat Erdogmus, representative of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Kazakhstan, emphasized that this event is a high-level step of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey.
- TİKA agency established relations with Kazakhstan since 1997. A special lecture hall opened today at Shakarim University for the purpose of learning the Turkish language can be seen as one of its fruits. This is the 17th lecture hall of our organization in Kazakhstan. In addition, TİKA agency has opened its own representative office in many countries. In particular, we have established contacts with several African countries, including Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. It is a great honor for TİKA that we have the opportunity to open such a lecture hall at Shakarim University. Another good thing is that the students from Shakarim University went to Turkey to take lectures, and the teachers did internships and gained mutual experience. In the near future, we will open a similar lecture hall at the Halel Dosmukhamedov University in Atyrau, - said F. Erdogmus.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the lecture hall, Shakarim University vice-rector for academic affairs Beimbet Darbayev expressed his sincere gratitude for the support of the representative office of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency in Kazakhstan to open a special lecture hall for those who are interested in learning Turkish at Shakarim University.
At the end of the event, Aibek Zheniskazin, the well-known poet of the country, the owner of "Asyl dombra", spoke about the brotherhood between the two countries and spoke in song.
