The national ideal and the teaching of independence

On the occasion of October 25 - Republic Day, Shakarim University held an informative lecture on the topic "History, education and future of independent Kazakhstan". The purpose of the event is to study the history of the formation of national statehood, to explain the historical significance of the Republic Day and to increase the respect of young people for the country's history.

The lecture was conducted by Nazigul Gazizova, a researcher of Shakarim University, an academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences. During the meeting, the path to independence of Kazakhstan, the stages of formation of an independent state, the main milestones of the country's development and future priorities were widely discussed.

At the lecture, special attention was paid to the historical significance of the adoption of the declaration on the state sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR on October 25, 1990. This document was one of the important steps that paved the way for the formation of Kazakhstan as an independent state. Therefore, Republic Day is a special holiday that defines the country's aspiration to independence, the idea of ​​national statehood, and the historical path to independence. The period 1991-1995 was considered an important period when the foundations of statehood were laid and the political and legal system of the country was formed. During these years, our national symbols were approved, state institutions were formed, and the development direction of an independent country began to be defined.

Maintaining the country's peace and national unity, strengthening the state border and strengthening the position of Kazakhstan as an independent state in the international community were noted as important achievements of independence.

An important part of the lecture was devoted to the directions of future development of Kazakhstan. Today, increasing the competitiveness of the country directly depends on the development of human capital, quality education and science, digitization and the effective use of artificial intelligence.

In this regard, supporting young scientists and qualified specialists, putting the results of scientific research into production, ensuring sustainable economic growth and developing green energy were mentioned as the priority tasks of the future. These directions are especially important for young people who are studying. Because tomorrow's success of the country depends on the education, research and civic responsibility of today's generation.

At the end of the lecture, it was noted that the historical meaning of the Republic Day is connected with the appreciation of the sovereignty and unity of the country, understanding the value of Independence.
