Today Shakarim University in Pavlodar city A. Pedagogical University named after Margulan and S. Distinguished guests from Pavlodar University named after Toraygyrov came specially. The delegation of the two higher educational institutions, which have established a partnership-partnership relationship with the university with a history of almost a century, was warmly welcomed by the community of qualified scientists and high-class teachers led by Shakarim University rector Duman Orynbekov.

The achievements of 11 departments within the framework of the Al-Sana state project were presented as a proof of the development of artificial intelligence in accordance with modern requirements. The vice-rector for internationalization and innovative programs Yerasyl Altaiuli gave a detailed presentation about the research projects of the university in the field of agriculture.

Rector of Pavlodar Pedagogical University named after Alkei Margulan Yerzhan Amirbekuly informed about the achievements of historical and cultural research and analysis. The first destination of the trip was the Shakarim Lab, which is considered the heart of the university's scientific potential. The guests got acquainted with the modern research infrastructure combining science, education and industry.
Members of the delegation paid attention to the features of the Testing Laboratory, Biological and Food Safety Laboratory, Milk Analysis Laboratory and Veterinary Clinic. Today, these centers not only form the research ecosystem of the region, but also conduct research aimed at solving specific production tasks.
Shakarim Lab today gives a fresh impetus to the development of the university as a center of scientific education and innovation.
Engineering Center – the real manifestation of science in production
As part of the meeting, the delegation visited the Engineering Center and got acquainted with the work of the "Plasma technologies of materials surface treatment" and "Materials science and electrolytic-plasma technologies of materials surface modification" laboratories.
Scientific research at the center is aimed at the restoration of parts in the field of mechanical engineering, increasing their strength, extending their service life, and introducing new processing technologies.
At the same time, mechanical and technological properties of materials are analyzed and practical solutions for production tasks are developed. This is a bright example of combining the results of science with the real economy.
Also, the delegation got acquainted with the social infrastructure of the university. Visited the gymnasium, swimming pool and fitness center in sports complex No. 1. He also visited student house No. 1 and saw the living conditions for students.
From research to production
At present, university scientists are implementing more than 40 scientific projects with the total amount of more than 5 billion tenge with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 70 percent of it is applied. This indicator shows that university science is connected with regional and national development tasks.
Colleagues who were at the scientific center "Agrotechnopark" and the scientific-practical center "Valorization of products of the agro-industrial complex" got acquainted with the work in the direction of introducing the results of science into production and expressed a positive opinion on the ongoing projects.
Kairat Bekbaev, professor of Science of the university, head of scientific and technical programs and projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, introduced the scientific and experimental center "Valorization of products of the agro-industrial complex" aimed at obtaining high-value products and using them in food production through deep processing of agricultural products and industrial waste.
The main priority of the center is obtaining bioproducts from plant organic waste, including production of biohydrogen. This direction is currently considered one of the main trends in world science. Here, the technology of producing biohydrogen from agricultural waste is studied and put into practice. In addition, the center conducts research in the direction of obtaining products such as biohydrogen, biomethane, bioethanol, biobutanol, and biomass. Scientists intend to recycle agricultural waste and re-introduce it to agriculture as fertilizer. This is an effective model based on the principles of sustainable development and closed economy.

The visit was full of special impressions for Nazira Ospanova, head of the department of "Information technologies" of Toraygyrov University, candidate of pedagogic sciences.
He returned to November, where he graduated thirty years ago, and praised today's changes.
- Shakarim University is my Alma mater. I graduated from this university 30 years ago. It is a great joy for me to come to November after thirty years with little achievements. If I have any success today, Shakarim University has contributed a lot to all of it. Now we have seen big projects in the direction of artificial intelligence. Modern laboratories, Huawei computer classes, opportunities created for students made a special impression. I believe that such meetings will be the beginning of joint scientific projects in the future. Indeed, regional universities should be on the same wave.
