The era of AI agents: new opportunities in higher education
A substantive seminar was held within the walls of Shakarim University as part of the innovative project AI-Sana, dedicated to the presentation of the functionality and operating principles of AI agents based on artificial intelligence.
The main goal of the seminar is to demonstrate specific mechanisms of work of AI agents implemented in the processes of education, scientific research and management, prove their effectiveness and broadly present areas of practical application. The meeting for members of the board, heads of structural divisions, teaching staff and heads of departments was held by the digital officer of the department for academic affairs, Maksatbek Satybekov.
The AI-Sana program is a large-scale innovative project implemented on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Its main task is the systematic introduction of artificial intelligence technologies into the higher education system in order to improve the quality of education and strengthen scientific potential.
The university has launched five specialized AI agents as part of the national AI-Sana program. Each of them is aimed at improving a specific area of the educational ecosystem.
