The Republican Olympiad and pedagogical seminar were held at Shakarim University

The I Republican Olympiad in the discipline “Fundamentals of Technical Mechanics” was held at Shakarim University among students from technical and vocational education organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, a republican seminar was organized for teachers of special disciplines and masters of industrial training on the topic “Application of innovations in the system of technical and vocational education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”

The main objectives of the event were the development of students’ professional self-determination, expansion of their worldview, formation of interest in the subject, as well as improvement of independent work skills and professional thinking. Particular attention was paid to developing the participants’ competencies in solving professional problems and working in a team. During the competition, participants demonstrated the level of their professional training by completing theoretical and practical tasks.

The Republican seminar, held as part of the Olympiad, became a platform for the exchange of experience between teachers. During the seminar, issues of introducing innovative technologies into the system of technical and vocational education, the use of modern teaching methods, as well as strengthening cooperation between educational organizations were discussed.

The events were aimed at developing partnerships between universities and colleges, improving the quality of technical education and improving the professional training of future specialists.
