A new project aimed at increasing the scientific potential of young scientists
The project "Workshop of Young Scientists" aimed at increasing the scientific potential of young researchers has started its work in Semey.
The purpose of the new project, which was organized by the Department of Youth Policy of Abay Region, is to form a culture of research among young people, to master modern methods of conducting scientific research, and to enable them to conduct independent research on current issues.
The opening ceremony of the project held on the basis of Shakarim University was attended by Olzhas Beisenbaev, Head of the Department for Youth Policy of Abay Region, Aisulu Moldabekova, Head of the "Zertteu Lab" Laboratory of the Institute of Economics of the Science Committee, as well as experts from the field of research and public administration.
The project will be attended by higher educational institutions of our region and young researchers of the Pedagogical College named after M. Auezov. Within the framework of the project, special lectures and master classes are organized for young researchers. In particular, Aygerim Abdirashitova, the chief expert of the Political Research Department of the Kazakhstan Institute of Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aisulu Tursynbayovna, the head of the "Zertteu Lab" laboratory, and Rashid Kemelbek, a researcher in the field of communications, media and management, will give a lecture. They are: agriculture and food security; medicine and ecology; public administration, law and modern technologies; pedagogy and humanitarian sciences.
At the opening meeting, the director of the Institute of State History of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurbek Pusyrmanov, wished success to the young scientists and emphasized the importance of the project for young people who have just entered science.
He said that within the framework of the project, the participants will not only learn the methods of conducting research, but also improve their practical skills necessary for scientific research. This, in turn, makes it possible to study current issues for the region and propose new scientifically based solutions. We believe that through such projects, young people will learn the culture of research and open the way to new scientific research. And let their work lead to scientific discoveries that contribute to finding solutions to pressing problems not only of Abay region, but at the republican level," said Nurbek Serikuly.
Olzhas Beisenbaev, head of the Department for Youth Policy of Abay region, noted that work aimed at developing science and opening the scientific potential of young people is being systematically carried out in the region.

During the project, the participants will gain practical knowledge in the areas of identifying research problems, collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, learning academic writing and research ethics, developing a scientific article and project application, systematizing scientific results and presenting them.
As a result of the project, young researchers will receive practical knowledge in the areas of topical issues from a scientific point of view. will be given the opportunity to study and propose new ideas and solutions necessary for the development of society and the region.
