New partnership: education, digitalization and financial security
Shakarim University and the Department of Economic Investigations in the Abay Region of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring signed a memorandum of bilateral cooperation.
The document is aimed at developing interaction in the fields of education, science, digitalization, as well as increasing financial and legal literacy. Over the next five years, the parties plan to implement joint projects to train competitive specialists in the field of IT, economics and finance, taking into account modern requirements for economic security.
The event was attended by Shakarim University Rector Duman Orynbekov, Vice-Rector for Digitalization Beimbet Daribayev, Head of the Center for Competence and Career Development Lyazzat Gabdullina, Head of the Department of Economics and Finance Aigul Zeinullina, as well as representatives of the Department of Economic Investigations, headed by the head Erzhan Bulegenov.
The memorandum provides for the creation of conditions for students studying in the areas of economics, finance and IT to undergo professional practice and internships on the basis of the Department. In addition, it is planned to hold joint lectures, practical classes and master classes on digital investigations, data analysis and modern financial monitoring technologies.
One of the important areas of cooperation will be the formation of legal literacy, a culture of integrity and financial responsibility among young people. Particular attention will be paid to promoting the principle of “Law and Order”, as well as increasing the legal and financial literacy of students.
The parties also discussed issues of improving educational programs taking into account the current needs of the labor market and government agencies, as well as developing joint research projects.
Within the framework of the partnership, the possibility of developing a new educational program in the areas of financial investigations, cybersecurity and digital antifraud was discussed. In addition, it is planned to open a modern educational and analytical office on the basis of the Department for the development of professional competencies of students.
Rector of Shakarim University Duman Orynbekov noted the importance of the memorandum for the professional development of future specialists.
“The principle of “Law and Order”, defined by the Head of State, should become the fundamental position of every conscious citizen and the younger generation. Today’s memorandum is an important step aimed at ensuring that students of economic and IT fields can combine theoretical knowledge with practice and become qualified specialists who meet the needs of government agencies in the region,” noted Duman Orynbekov.
In turn, the head of the Department of Economic Investigations, Erzhan Bulegenov, emphasized that the partnership with Shakarim University will help strengthen the human resources potential of the region, ensure financial and economic security and effective implementation digital solutions.
The new memorandum is designed to strengthen the interaction between the higher education system and the public sector, ensure a close connection between theoretical training of students and practice and create additional opportunities for training in-demand specialists for the region.
