The first PhD thesis in "Veterinary" direction was defended
Today, an important scientific event in the field of veterinary sciences took place at Shakarim University. Shakarim Lab researcher Elmira Saylaubaikovna Abdullina 8D09102 - successfully defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the "Veterinary Sanitation" educational program.
The said defense was held at the Dissertation Council in the direction 8D091 "Veterinary", established on the basis of the internal order of Shakarim University, approved by the Order No. 2149 of December 12, 2025 of the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This is the Shakarim Universitydissertation defense held for the first time in the dissertation council established in this direction. This shows that the scientific potential of the university is increasing and that research work in the field of veterinary sciences has reached a new level.
The topic of the thesis submitted for defense is "Epizootological monitoring and veterinary-sanitary measures of the morakellosis disease of cattle in the eastern region of Kazakhstan". The research work is aimed at studying the characteristics of the distribution of moracellosis among cattle in the eastern region of Kazakhstan, evaluating its epizootological situation and improving veterinary and sanitary measures. This study has important scientific and practical significance in ensuring veterinary safety and prevention of diseases in animal husbandry.
