National color - national pride
As part of the ten-day “Nauryznama”, held within the framework of the “Digital Nauryz – 2026” project, Shakarim University solemnly celebrated “National Clothes Day”. This day, aimed at popularizing national values and reviving the heritage of our ancestors, became a significant and spiritually rich event for the university staff.
The challenge, dedicated to National Dress Day, was organized jointly by the University Administration, Shakarim High School and the Student Parliament. Participants were invited to come dressed with national elements. This initiative became not only a manifestation of aesthetics, but also a clear expression of respect for the history and culture of the people.
During the festive event, the rector of the university, Duman Orynbekov, congratulated those gathered on the National Dress Day, celebrated on the eve of the Nauryz holiday. In his speech, he emphasized that national clothing is an important symbol of national identity:
“National clothing is a golden bridge between the past and present of our people, an integral part of our spiritual code,” he noted, calling on young people to take care of the cultural heritage.
As part of the event, students and teachers demonstrated a harmonious combination of traditional Kazakh costumes with modern elements. Camisoles and hats, sәukele and skullcaps, embroidered dresses and outfits decorated with ornaments - all this created an atmosphere of national color and made a vivid impression on the participants.
The holiday was accompanied by the sound of national music, participants shared good wishes and created an atmosphere of warmth and unity. This day has become a vivid example of the continuity of generations and the preservation of national identity.
