The book festival is over

The ten days dedicated to "National Book Day" have come to an end at Shakarim University. The event called "The book is a spiritual treasure" held in the main building of the university concluded the content period.

The main purpose of the event organized by the librarian Aray Kazgasim is to create a culture of reading books in the society, popularize fiction and support the spiritual development of young people.

The importance of the book in human life, its role as a source of spiritual wealth was widely discussed at the event. If the book is the precious heritage of the nation, it was emphasized that the librarian is the person who preserves that treasure and delivers it to future generations.

In addition, the participants got acquainted with the official website of the university library, received information about the book collection, periodicals and available resources, looked at the book exhibition. Students were asked interesting quiz questions, and the part organized in the form of an educational game increased the interest of young people.

A fair of "Kasym" book publishing products was organized at the event that summed up the decade. "Today is a special day for us. The team of "Kasym" book publishing company came to Shakarim's house specially and felt as if we were reunited with the spiritual world. In general, each of the meaningful activities held by librarians during the ten-day period was aimed at encouraging young people to read books, increasing their love for books, and forming a culture of reading.
