Work combining the spirit of the nation with science
An important cultural and scientific event took place at Shakarim University, which combined the national spirit and modern science. A ceremonial presentation ceremony of the scientific and educational book "Horse coat" was organized on the walls of the university.
Well-known scientists, poets-writers and public figures of the country - Sharipbek Amirbekov, Manarbek Mukhamedzhanov, Tynyshtykbek Abdikakimuly, Mukhtarbek Karpykuly, Kusmiliya Zyrgalyuly, Yerzhan Zhaubai and other representatives of the intelligentsia took part in the educational meeting.
The content of the book comprehensively covers the knowledge of the Kazakh people about horse hair. The special place of the horse in the history and spirituality of the horse in Kazakh history and spirituality is extensively analyzed in such sections as "Horse is a precious food", "Nomadic civilization and the image of the horse in the ancient Turkic culture and literature", "The significance of the horse in Kazakh history", "Equestrian industry", "Equestrian sport", "Art on horseback", "Holiday and travel", "The future of the horse breeding industry".
The work also contains specific scientific proposals for the development of the industry. In particular, the issue of opening a Bioengineering Center in Semey, researching the latest world-class scientific achievements related to horse products, attracting domestic and foreign scientists was raised. At the same time, valuable comments were made on the organization of the "Horse Museum", in-depth study of breed genetics, determination of the biochemical composition of mare's milk, saumal, kombucha, horse mane and mare's noise, and the possibility of using biologically active mixtures obtained from them in the fields of medicine, pharmaceuticals and cosmetology. In the field of education, training of zootechnics and hippology specialists, revitalization of breeding activities is also in the main focus.
The authors of the book are our compatriot, public figure Aibek Karimov and candidate of agricultural sciences, scientist Kairat Iskhan. During the presentation, Aibek Mutalapkhanuly focused on each chapter of the work individually and explained the main idea and scientific-cognitive significance of the book.
In his speech, Kairat Iskhan noted that this work is the result of many years of scientific research.
- "In this book, not only breeding, zootechnics, physiology and anatomy of horses, but also spiritual heritage such as Kazakh heroes' song, tune and song, images of horses carved in stone have been integrated into one channel. Scientists and management of Shakarim University greatly supported the publication of the book," the scientist said.
Also, he focused on the achievements of horse breeding in the Semipalatinsk region. He noted that in 2022, the "Beskaragay" factory type, and in 2024, the "Irtys" factory type of the Mugalzhar horse breed were approved. Currently, there are more than 4 million horses in Kazakhstan, most of which are bred in the Semipalatinsk region. It is natural that the presentation of the book will take place at Shakarim University. Because this November, Baidolla Khamzauly Sadykov, a scientist who wrote the first scientific thesis on horse breeding in the country, was the rector and head of the department for many years, worked and laid the scientific foundation.
During the meeting, a proposal was made to open a special workshop named after Baidolla Khamzauly Sadykov, and this initiative was to be implemented at Shakarim University in the future. On this occasion, businessmen - Askar Danabaev and Khabidulla Mukinov said that they will sponsor the equipment of the mentioned shop with the necessary equipment and support the good cause of combining science and production.
The book "Horse Hair" combining national spirituality and science is an important work that raises Kazakh knowledge about horses to a new level and paves the way for future scientific research.
