I sincerely congratulate you on the National Dombra Day, which glorifies the precious treasure of our national spirit!
Dombyra is a sacred instrument that has absorbed the centuries-old history, nature, and worldview of the Kazakh people. Every song poured out from his colon is a beautiful chronicle of our people's joys and sorrows, bravery and patriotism, freedom and dreams. The sound of the drum is like a spiritual bridge that revives the memory of the nation and connects generations.
For Kazakhs, the dombra is not just a musical instrument, but a symbol of our national code, native culture, and spiritual integrity. It is a sacred heritage that has brought the legacy of great musicians and singers to the present day. Therefore, to glorify the drum is not only to pay homage to our past, but also to enrich our future from a spiritual point of view.
Shakarim University attaches great importance to the development of national art and culture, instilling the precious values of our people in the young generation. One of our bright achievements in this direction is the recent world record setting by Kairat Kabyshev, a senior lecturer of the "Art" department of our university. He performed 102 Kazakh songs without a break and showed the vitality of the national song art and the rich musical heritage of our people to the world. This is a significant historical event that raised the status not only of our university, but of the entire Kazakh culture, and is mentioned with special pride on the eve of the National Dombra Day.
Such achievements clearly show that the art and culture of our people is being properly appreciated at the international level. Art patrons who glorify national values and take them to a new level are a bright example for the younger generation.
