SHAKARIM EDUCATION GRANT WAS ACHIEVED
Today, for the third year in a row, the "Singyrla, the last call" ceremony was held at Shakarim University. Saying goodbye to childhood and stepping into the future, the winners of the "Golden sign" of Shakarim High School, the best of education, are beaming and shining around.
Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan was sung and the national flag was brought to the event. Teachers, parents and graduates, who witnessed the scene that increased confidence in the future of the country, clearly felt the impact of today.
Shakarim University Rector-Chairman of the Board Duman Orynbekov, congratulating the crowd on the holiday of the last call, pointed out the difference of Shakarim High School, opened on the university base, from other educational facilities.
— Our Shakarim High School is a future-oriented, new-format educational institution built in accordance with modern requirements. The fact that the first academic year of our school coincided with the 165th anniversary of Shakarim Kudaiberdiuly, one of the five giants of Kazakhstan, a great thinker, philosopher, poet, had a special historical and spiritual significance for us. Therefore, our school is becoming not only an educational institution, but also a spiritual center that glorifies national values. Currently, our school is successfully continuing its third academic year. Today, 136 students are studying in grades 10-11. This school year, several of our students are candidates for "Golden mark" and "Best certificate". This is the result of systematic work of teachers and students.
Our main goal is to create a person who thinks at the global level, is multilingual, educated, and has internalized national values. Today, the school should be not only a place of education, but also an environment that opens up the student's abilities and adapts them to life. Therefore, we give priority to the development of critical thinking, digital literacy, research, leadership and teamwork skills for children along with academic education, D. said. Orynbekov.
136 students of 10-11 grades are studying in this school, which fully meets modern requirements. In the 2025-2026 academic year, 7 students of Shakarim High School are eligible for the "Golden Label" and 7 students for the "Excellence" certificate.
-The main feature of our school is that it is built on the basis of a university. This allows students to engage in science at an early age. Faculty members, young scientists and PhD doctors of Shakarim University hold special lectures and organize practical lessons in scientific laboratories. Through this, students deeply understand the connection between science and education. In 2024, 221 children were awarded the "Shakarim Education Grant" certificate, this year 434 "Golden Label" holders of our region received certificates. This year, 68 graduates are about to leave the school. 7 of them are candidates for the "Golden label", 7 are candidates for the best certificate, says school director Bakyt Seyitkalieva.
