A book combining financial literacy with Abai's teachings

Shakarim University held a spiritual and educational meeting with deep national content and great educational value. Candidate of economic sciences, associate professor of "Turan-Astana" University Baurzhan Muratbekuly Iskakov's book "Awaken the financial giant in your child: through the teaching of Abay" was organized in his hometown.

Rector of Shakarim University Duman Orynbekov introduced the author of the book to the participants and noted that Baurzhan Muratbekuly is not only the author of fundamental works in the field of economics and finance, but also an experienced teacher who guides young scientists. At the same time, it was emphasized that his activity in promoting financial literacy and his service to the country are special.

In his speech, the author of the book focused on the complex processes of the modern economy and broadly explained the problems of inflation, dependence on imports and diversification of the economy. According to him, an economy based on raw materials does not bring sustainable development in the long term. Therefore, financial literacy is the main guarantee of a successful future for both the state and an individual.

At this point, the author gave an example of the deep philosophical thoughts in the poems of the great Kazakh thinker Abai and said that the culture of human self-control and accountability is the basis of financial order. He noted that the teaching of the sage of the field, "If you want to be among the smart people, take one honor a day, if not one on Friday, at least one a month" can be applied to the financial world as well.

This new work of Bauyrzhan Muratbekuly is a motivational work for the younger generation. In it, important skills such as proper financial planning, saving, saving and investing are explained in simple language, using real-life examples. Based on the principles of morality, perseverance, hard work in Abai's teaching, the author offers ways to form the right attitude of the child towards finances.
