The scientist's work was highly appreciated

On the eve of the Day of Scientific Workers, a ceremonial meeting was held at the Akorda residence for the inauguration of representatives of domestic science. During the event, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, noted the special role of science and education in the development of the country and reminded that this year was declared the "Year of Digitization and Artificial Intelligence".

"The cornerstone of any developed, that is, advanced state is science, and its treasure is a scientist. It would not be wrong to say that the scientific potential of each country is a measure of its prestige and power. Only those who give priority to science, respect scientists, in other words, "people with knowledge" will enter the field of civilization. This is true. In the end, all the success of mankind is undoubtedly the result of the intellectual work of scientists"- said the Head of State and pointed to the systematic support measures for science.

Government support for science, especially young researchers, is an important investment in the future of domestic science. Today, hundreds of young scientists are supported by housing and are implementing their research projects through special grants. In addition, they are being given the opportunity to exchange experience in leading scientific centers of the world.

At the solemn ceremony, a number of scientists of the country received state awards. Among them is Askar Bagdatuly Kasymov. He is a member of Shakarim University's Board, vice-rector for strategy and social development, and a qualified specialist who works tirelessly in the development of science and higher education.

Askar Bagdatuly received the medal "For meritorious service" from the head of the state and received a high state honor. This award is a fitting recognition of his professional qualifications, achievements in research and significant contribution to the education system.
