First-year students competed in sports

At Shakarim University, a sports championship was organized among first-year students. Students of Higher and Research Schools of the University and Shakarim Higher College took part in the competition.

A total of 9 teams took part in the sports competition and competed in such sports as streetball, volleyball (mixed format), togzkumalak, chess, table tennis and swimming relay.

In the mixed format volleyball competition, Digital Technologies and Construction Higher School won the 1st place, while Shakarim Higher College took the 2nd place. And the higher school of STEM education took the 3rd place.

High School of Digital Technologies and Construction won the boys' swimming relay. The second place was taken by the Research School of Physical and Chemical Sciences, and the third place by the Veterinary and Agricultural Research School. Shakarim Higher College took the first place in the girls' relay race, and the Higher Education School took the second place. The third place was taken by the School of Veterinary and Agricultural Research.

High School of Education won table tennis among girls. The second place was taken by the Higher School of Sports and Natural Sciences, and the third place by the Higher School of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture. Among the boys, the team of the Higher School of Education won the first place. The second place was awarded to the Higher School of Sports and Natural Sciences, the third place to the Higher School of Physics and Chemical Sciences.

Veterinary and Agricultural Research School won the first place among boys from Togyzkumalak. The Graduate School of STEM-Education took second place, while the Graduate School of Business and Communication took third place. Among girls, the Higher School of Business and Communication became the winner, the Higher School of Education took the second place, and the Veterinary and Agricultural Research School took the third place.

High school of STEM-education became the best among boys in chess. The second place was taken by the Higher School of Digital Technologies and Construction, and the third place by the School of Veterinary and Agricultural Research. Among girls, the Higher School of STEM-Education took the first place, the Higher School of Education took the second place, and the Veterinary and Agricultural Research School took the third place.

High School of Sports and Natural Sciences won first place among boys in streetball 3×3. The Higher School of STEM-Education took second place, and the Higher School of Education took third place. Among girls, the School of Veterinary and Agricultural Research became the winner, the Higher School of Education took the second place, and the Higher School of Digital Technologies and Construction took the third place.

During the competition, students showed their mutual organization and sportsmanship and contributed to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
