Academic Integrity and a Corruption Free Society: An Open Dialogue at Shakarim University
A meeting in TEDx format on the topic "Integrity Talks: Academic honesty and a corruption-free future" was organized in Shakarim University building #3.
The purpose of the event is to strengthen the principles of academic honesty at the university, to create an anti-corruption culture among young people, and to glorify the values of honesty.
The speaker of the meeting is Olzhas Beisenbai, the head of the youth policy department of Abay region. The speaker had an open exchange of ideas with young people and shared his thoughts on the role of academic integrity in the development of society, prevention of corruption and civic responsibility of the young generation.
The meeting was held within the framework of the implementation of the concept of anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026. The event is organized in accordance with the Action Plan for Decomposed Information Work at the Level of Different Target Groups, approved by Resolution No. 1147 of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 31, 2022, and Item 24 of the Regional Action Plan, approved on March 12, 2026.
The meeting in TEDx format held under the auspices of Shakarim University was attended by the Deputy Head of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Abay Region, Kairat Sapargaliev, members of the "Conscious Generation" club, university students and teachers, as well as representatives of the Department.
