International scientific dialogue: “Shakarimov Readings - 2025”

The international scientific and practical conference “Shakarimov Readings”, traditionally held at Shakari University, this year was distinguished by a new impulse, a new level and a modern scientific outlook. The online format of the conference contributed to strengthening the relationship between spiritual heritage and modern science, uniting scientists from different countries on a single scientific platform.

The key idea of the event was to integrate the spiritual, philosophical and scientific heritage of Shakarim Kudayberdiuly with new technologies and current trends in modern science, as well as to demonstrate the relevance of his ideas for science in the 21st century. The conference covered a wide range of issues - from humanities to engineering technologies, from agriculture to the IT sector.

Purpose and scientific significance of the conference

The main goal of the conference was to comprehend the personal and scientific heritage of Shakarim from new positions and its analytical connection with current areas of modern science. The humanistic ideas of his work, the concept of loyalty to science, views on nature and society have a depth that fully meets the requirements of our time.

In addition, the conference acted as an international platform for scientific dialogue, opening up opportunities for discovering the scientific potential of young scientists and implementing joint projects with foreign researchers. Particularly significant was the use of the online format, which removed geographical restrictions and expanded the boundaries of the scientific community.

Five scientific directions - a wide field of research

The conference was organized in the following scientific areas:

  1. Humanities—linguistics, literary studies, history, philosophy, cultural studies, questions of shakarimtanu.

  2. Social sciences - economics, sociology, jurisprudence, management, new trends in the education system.

  3. Engineering and technical direction - new materials, construction technologies, energy-saving solutions, innovations in technology.

  4. Artificial intelligence and IT technologies - machine learning, Big Data, cybersecurity, digital transformation.

  5. Agriculture and agro-industrial complex - livestock breeding, plant protection, agricultural technologies, ways of sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex.

All these directions were focused on combining modern scientific knowledge with the worldview inherent in the Shakarim, based on a holistic understanding of the unity of the soul and the world, nature and society.

Plenary session: meeting of representatives of international science

At the plenary session, researchers from different countries made key scientific reports:

  • Ushkyn Saydirahman, a postdoctoral fellow at Shakarim University, presented a study on the reflection of Shakarim’s legacy in the Kazakh press, offering a new scientific analysis of the role of his works in the information space.

  • Ercüment Aksoy, a researcher from Turkey, reviewed the trends in the development of remote sensing technologies and space monitoring of the Earth in the era of artificial intelligence.

  • Asem Myrzhieva, representative of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, shared scientific data on the pathomorphology of animal diseases.

  • Aknur Melisova, doctoral student, presented a modern study of the technology for producing “green” hydrogen by recycling waste - a hot topic in the context of global environmental security and energy transformation.

Each report was distinguished by the novelty of scientific data, practical results and international comparisons, which set the high scientific level of the conference and became an impetus for further discussions.

Participants and international scale

The Shakarimov Readings 2025 conference this year has expanded significantly both in geography and in scientific content. During the event, more than 160 scientific reports were presented from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan.

All reports have undergone specialized examination and will be published in the form of an electronic collection, which opens up wide opportunities for young researchers to enter the international scientific space.

New opportunities for young scientists

One of the key features of the conference was its focus on young researchers. The Shakarimov Readings platform has created favorable conditions for:

  • exchange of scientific experience;

  • establishing international scientific relations;

  • publication of research results;

  • launching new scientific projects.

Many students and undergraduates presented their first scientific works and received expert reviews from leading scientists, which became an important incentive for their professional development.

The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Shakarimov Readings - 2025” acted as a significant bridge between science and spirituality, tradition and innovation, past and future. On the one hand, it opened up new opportunities for rethinking the legacy of Shakarim Kudayberdiuly, on the other hand, it created a space for discussing current problems of modern science.

Held at the international level, the conference clearly demonstrated the openness, unity and social significance of science, and for young scientists it became a starting point for the birth of new ideas and research.
