"National Sports Day", reviving the national spirit
At Shakarim University, within the framework of the “Digital Nauryz – 2026” project, the ten-day “Nauryznam” continues. During the decade, “National Sports Day” was celebrated with special content, dedicated to the glorification of national values
The sporting event was aimed at glorifying the distinctive heritage, traditions and national games of the Kazakh people. The event was organized jointly by the Department of Physical Education and Sports, the sports club, and the student parliament.
University students actively participated in sports competitions and contributed to the modernization of national games inherited from their ancestors.
During the competition, participants danced “Kara Zhorga” and demonstrated the beauty of national art. In addition, he participated in such national games as “Alaman Bayge”, “Tenge Ilu”, “Takym”, “Bes Asyk” and “Arkan Tartu”.
This event became not only a competition, but also an important platform for awakening the national spirit and developing a sense of patriotism among young people. The participants not only competed with each other, but also showed an example of friendship and cohesion.
National Sports Day is a vivid example of glorifying national heritage. Such events instill national values in the minds of the younger generation and teach them to respect them.
National games are an invaluable asset of our people. Preserving, developing and passing it on to future generations is the sacred duty of each of us!
