Specialists of Shakarim University are on an IT technology internship in China

Teachers and young specialists of Shakarim University participated in the international educational training "China-Central Asia Advanced Computing Training Program" held at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) of the People's Republic of China. This project is aimed at strengthening scientific and educational cooperation between China and Central Asian countries.

IT specialists from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan were invited to the program and trained in the main directions of the modern IT industry. The course covered relevant topics such as high performance computing (HPC), parallel computing, artificial intelligence (Edge AI, LLM), computer vision and quantum technologies. The classes were conducted by leading professors of HUST University.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, the participants visited the laboratories of the university and the supercomputer center in Wuhan and got acquainted with the modern computing infrastructure. At the end of the course, all participants were presented with certificates of honor from HUST University and official certificates from the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China (MOST).
