A training session on FIRST international robotics programs has started at Shakarim University

Head of the state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his Address to the people of Kazakhstan mentioned turning Kazakhstan into a state with developed digital technologies as one of the priority directions of the country's development. In order to increase the educational potential of the country within the framework of this strategic task, with the support of the "People of Kazakhstan" Foundation, "I will be a hero" and "USTEM Foundation" funds are organizing a special training session on the basis of Shakarim University from January 8-10.

The said event was held within the framework of the Jasampaz Urpaq project, aimed at increasing the engineering and creative potential of the youth of Abay region, and was dedicated to the development of professional competence of teachers providing education in the field of robotics.

More than forty teachers from Semipalatinsk, as well as Zhanasemei, Makanshi, Beskaragai and Ayagoz districts are participating in the training session. During the three-day training, participants will get acquainted with modern educational methods and improve their professional skills on the basis of Shakarim University.

The seminar program consists of theoretical lectures as well as a series of interactive workshops based on practical game simulations. This format allows not only to deepen the knowledge of teachers in the field of robotics, but also to form the skills of using it effectively in the educational process.

At the end of the training session, the participants will be awarded with special certificates confirming their qualification in the field of robotics. This initiative is an important step aimed at developing engineering education in the region, increasing the technological literacy of the young generation, and training personnel in accordance with the requirements of the digital economy.
