Shakarim University presented the capabilities of ChatGPT Edu
Shakarim University hosted a seminar on the topic “ChatGPT Edu - a new teaching assistant”, dedicated to the effective use of OpenAI’s ChatGPT Edu artificial intelligence tool in the educational process. During the event, the faculty and staff of the university were introduced to the possibilities of artificial intelligence in organizing training, developing educational materials and conducting scientific research.
The seminar was conducted by a representative of the Bilim Group, PhD in the field of education, researcher of multilingual education Aigerim Kazhigalieva. She spoke in detail about the evolution of artificial intelligence technologies, their role in the modern educational space and effective ways to use ChatGPT Edu in professional activities.
The speaker emphasized the importance of the correct choice of artificial intelligence tools depending on the tasks, competent formulation of queries and critical assessment of the results obtained.
One of the key topics of the seminar was the integration of ChatGPT Edu into the educational process. Participants examined the possibilities of using artificial intelligence to develop educational materials, explain complex topics in an accessible way, compose assignments and questions for discussion, structure lectures, and prepare educational resources taking into account the needs of students.
Particular attention was paid to the use of artificial intelligence as a tool to help optimize the professional activities of teachers, rational use of time and increase the efficiency of preparing educational materials.
The main goal of the seminar is to increase the digital literacy of faculty and university staff, as well as expand practical opportunities for using modern artificial intelligence technologies in educational and research activities.
