The era of artificial intelligence, which is rapidly developing and changing every day, opens a new page in the history of human civilization. This is not just a technological breakthrough, but also a stage that requires fundamental changes in the spiritual, cultural and educational spheres. In this context, Kazakhstan is not lagging behind, striving to respond to new opportunities and challenges.

At the first meeting of the Council for the Development of Artificial Intelligence, chaired by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek made a report on the topic “Investment in intelligence: the formation of human capital in the era of AI,” in which he presented the comprehensive work carried out by the ministry. According to him, the country has systematically trained specialists in the field of artificial intelligence. Currently, important additions regarding AI have been made to state educational standards, rules for awarding scientific degrees and requirements for universities. This is a concrete and bold step into the future.

“Artificial intelligence is not only an IT field, it is becoming a necessary tool for specialists of all professions. Taking this into account, 95 universities across the country have introduced a compulsory course in artificial intelligence for all students. In addition, 38 new educational programs focused on various industries have been launched at 30 universities. This is an investment in the foundation of the future,” the minister noted.

Particular attention is paid to the independent search for knowledge and creativity of students. To date, students have created 119 artificial intelligence agents. Among them is the AI Check project, developed at Shakarim University. This intelligent system is used to ensure academic integrity and is able to detect whether any written work is written by a human or prepared by AI. Such projects show that young people are becoming not just consumers, but the creative force of a new era.

However, along with artificial intelligence, an important question arises - the adaptation of the national language to the technological world. In this direction, Kazakhstan is also achieving concrete results. According to Minister Sayasat Nurbek, large-scale work is underway to integrate the Kazakh language into the global ecosystem of artificial intelligence. At the legislative level, the National Dictionary Fund has been adopted, which contains six billion words.

In addition, two large language models adapted for the Kazakh language - KazLLM and Til-Qazyna LLM - have become available on the HuggingFace platform. Technologies for converting text to speech and speech to text in the Kazakh language have also been developed, which are presented as domestic products. This is not just a technical achievement, it is the release of the native language to a new level, the creation of modern tools for the younger generation.

Thus, Kazakhstan in the era of artificial intelligence demonstrates a striking example of moving into the future, while maintaining national identity and spiritual values.
