"Kazakh" newspaper: The legacy of Alash is remembered by young people
At Shakarim University, a round table meeting dedicated to the National Press Day "Kazakh newspaper" was held. The round table session, organized to promote the history and significance of "Kazakh" newspaper among young people, gave an opportunity to remember the contribution of Alash intellectuals to the Kazakh people.
The vice-rector for science Zhanar Kalibekovyna, who opened the event, congratulated the students on the upcoming National Press Day and gave letters of thanks to the students who actively participated in public works.
Students of groups ХМ-2501 and ХМ-2502 were active and made informative reports on topics such as "February 2 - National Press Day", "Kazakh Gazette", "Alikhan Nurmuhameduly Bokeikhanov", "Ahmet Baitursynov", "Mirzhakip Dulatov", "Alash Movement", "Alash Party", "Alash Autonomy", "Alash City". Through these reports, students presented their research work and knowledge and determined the place of Alash lions in the history of our country.
During the round table meeting, the students not only made a report, but also took part in heated discussions about the role of "Kazakh" newspaper for the Kazakh society at that time, its importance in awakening national consciousness, raising education and culture. They noted that the articles published on the pages of the newspaper have not lost their relevance to this day, that the dreams and heritage of Alash intellectuals are in harmony with the directions of development of modern Kazakhstan. The work of Alikhan Bukeikhanov, Ahmet Baitursynov, Mirzhakip Dulatov in preserving the purity of the Kazakh language, forming the national education system, and strengthening Kazakh statehood was especially noted.
The organizer of the important event is G.E., Master of Pedagogical Sciences. Mamaeva expressed her gratitude to the students and highly appreciated their desire to study the heritage of Alash.
This event was a clear manifestation of Shakarim University's desire to educate young people in the national spirit and to form historical responsibility in them.
