My profession is my pride
Professors and teaching staff of the Department of History and Law, graduate and undergraduate students met with students of grades 9-10 as part of the professional orientation meeting "My profession is my pride" at Shakarim multidisciplinary gymnasium No. 5.
During the meeting, the students were introduced to the intricacies of the history profession, and were given comprehensive information about what kind of specialist they can become in the future, opportunities to participate in archaeological excavations, international experience exchange programs, and interesting moments of student life.
Head of the department, candidate of historical sciences Abenova G.A., candidate of historical sciences, senior teacher Akhmetova R.D., teacher Dautova A.F. attended the event. participated and shared their experiences. In addition, the students explained the specifics of the profession with specific examples in order to provide professional guidance to the students.
In the framework of the meeting, an intellectual game called "Saqa" was organized among undergraduates, students and schoolchildren, the knowledge of the participants was tested, and a special activity was observed.
Such meetings contribute to the conscious choice of the future profession of the young generation and increase their interest in the science of history.
