InspireEdu workshop: a new impetus for the professional growth of preschool teachers
Shakarim University hosted a regional interactive workshop “InspireEdu: trajectory of professional growth and leadership capabilities of teachers of preschool organizations”, aimed at increasing the professional and leadership potential of teaching staff in the field of preschool education and upbringing.
This event, consistent with the mission of the university, was based on the idea of forming a harmoniously developed, professionally competitive personality that has absorbed national values. The workshop was aimed at developing the leadership competencies of preschool teachers, determining the level of their professional growth and presenting new career development opportunities.
The purpose of the InspireEdu event was to comprehensively familiarize participants with Shakarim University master's educational programs and also to promote the development of the leadership potential of teachers.
During the event, the ways of developing leadership competencies in the field of education were explained in detail, as well as the opportunities that master’s studies open up for the professional and career growth of a teacher.
In addition, participants were provided with complete and accurate information about the rules and requirements for admission to the master's program, as well as the procedure for submitting documents. Teachers of preschool organizations got acquainted with the activities of the Resource Center for the Development of Inclusive Education and received information about the methodological and practical support provided by the center to teachers.
The workshop began with a welcoming speech from the head of the department of pedagogy and psychology, Bibigul Ospanova. In her speech, she noted the strategic priorities of the university in the training of teaching staff and emphasized the importance of the InspireEdu platform for the professional teaching community.
The content of the event was organized in two directions.
The dialogue platform “Preschool education and upbringing” was held by senior lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Rauken Mukhmetova, where current issues of preschool education, professional growth and practical opportunities for master’s programs were discussed.
And the master class “Leadership in Education” was conducted by Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Professor Sholpan Satieva, during which the role of the teacher as a leader and the system of management thinking were considered.
As part of the event, senior teachers of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Gulnar Zhakparova, Marzhan Nogaibaeva and Arai Alimbaeva held an exchange session with the participants on the topic “Teacher-leader: trajectory of professional growth.” During the session, the leadership image of a teacher’s personality, ways of professional development, as well as the role and responsibility of a teacher in the modern educational space were discussed.
The regional interactive workshop InspireEdu has become a significant platform for preschool teachers, facilitating the exchange of experience, defining professional guidelines and inspiring continuous development.
