Scientific internship – new opportunities for professional development
Scientific internship is a stage of practical and scientific development aimed at improving the professional level of researchers and young scientists.
In this context, Shakarim University, within the framework of international cooperation, on an ongoing basis carries out comprehensive and systematic work aimed at developing the scientific potential of students. During the period from January 12 to March 16, 2026, a number of doctoral students undergo scientific internships in higher educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Armenia.
3rd year doctoral students of the educational program “Food Technology” Madina Begaly and Zhuldyz Tokanova undergo an internship in the laboratories of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov (Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic), where they study the current state of baby food production, master methods of enzymatic and mechanical processing of meat, study the effectiveness of using enzyme preparations in a dosage of 0.1%, as well as carry out an assessment of physicochemical, biochemical and organoleptic indicators.
3rd year doctoral student of the educational program “Technological Machinery and Equipment” Damir Dukenbaev is undergoing an internship at the educational and scientific laboratories of Kemerovo State University (Kemerovo, Russian Federation), where he studies the main technological processes used in the thickening and pasteurization of liquid food products, and also determines the influence of heat treatment on the efficiency of processes and the structural and mechanical characteristics of the product, affecting the quality of the finished product products.
Doctoral students of the 1st and 2nd year of the educational program “Technological Machinery and Equipment” Nurgeldy Aimanbetov and Kuanysh Moldakashev conduct research at the Research Institute of Biology of Yerevan State University (Yerevan, Republic of Armenia), where they study the production of bioproducts (biohydrogen, bioethanol, biomass, etc.) through anaerobic digestion lignocellulosic waste.
The main goal of the scientific internship is to deepen the research areas of doctoral students, master scientific schools and modern research methods of foreign universities, develop professional competencies through active participation in scientific projects, as well as strengthening international scientific cooperation.
