Science – education – practice

The trinity of “science – education – practice” helps to improve the quality of training of specialists, enhance the practical significance of scientific results and the formation of personnel that meet the requirements of the modern labor market.

In this regard, Shakarim University, within the framework of international cooperation, is consistently implementing a set of measures aimed at strengthening the scientific potential of students. During the period from November 3 to December 16, 2025, a number of doctoral students undergo scientific internships in higher educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan, Finland and Poland.

2nd year doctoral student of the educational program “Technological Machinery and Equipment” Arai Bazanova is undergoing an internship at the educational and scientific laboratories of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan), where he is engaged in research in the field of environmental monitoring, radioecology, analysis of water and soil quality, as well as determination of the content of heavy metals in their composition.

3rd year doctoral student of the educational program “Chemistry” Kazhygeldieva Laura conducts scientific research in the laboratories of the Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznan, Poland). As part of her internship, she is involved in determining the antioxidant and biological activity of plants, as well as assessing the effectiveness of the effects of cosmetic samples on the skin using in vivo testing.

3rd year doctoral students of the educational program “Technical Physics” Erasyl Naimankumaruly and Almasbek Maulit are undergoing an internship at Tampere University (Tampere, Finland). Their research is aimed at studying the mechanical and tribological properties of tungsten (hardness, elasticity, wear rate) before and after irradiation, as well as determining the electrical and optical characteristics of the electrical discharge between the electrolyte flow and the metal electrode in a short-term interval.

The purpose of the scientific internship is to improve the research areas of doctoral students, master scientific schools and modern research methods used in foreign universities, expand professional competencies through participation in scientific projects, as well as strengthen international scientific integration.
