An open debate took place on the topic “Work makes a person a hero”
As part of the summing up of the “Year of Working Professions”, organized by the Shakarim University Library, an open debate was held in the format of a debate on the topic “Work makes a person a hero.”
The main goal of the event was to develop students' critical thinking, a culture of expressing their own opinions, as well as the formation of a respectful attitude towards work. An open discussion platform gave students the opportunity to freely express their thoughts and discuss different points of view.
During the event, participants shared their views on the role and importance of work in human life, ways to develop professional skills, as well as the importance of blue-collar professions in modern society. Students gave specific examples and relied on personal experience to discuss their ideas about work. During the active discussion, each participant had the opportunity to express his own position and give arguments in response to opposing opinions.
The format of the debate contributed to the development of not only speech skills, but also logical thinking and analytical abilities of students. Participants discussed key aspects of work ethics, the importance of responsibility in human life, and the role of various professions and specialties in society.
At the end of the event, students shared their impressions. Many noted that the debate format successfully combined knowledge and practical experience, and the open platform itself turned out to be useful and interesting. Such events help young people develop the ability to openly express their opinions, as well as improve professional and social skills.
