"Religious literacy is a guarantee of social stability"

An event called "Religious literacy is a guarantee of social stability" was organized at Shakarim University. The purpose of the event is to increase religious literacy among young people, promote correct religious knowledge and prevent false information.

Students of Shakarim Higher College took part in the mentioned event. During the meeting, topical issues in the field of religion were discussed, and informational and explanatory work was carried out for the participants.

In the framework of the event, Darkhan Sadykov, a specialist of the Abai regional religious research center, and Serikzhan Kapanov, the head of the Department of Environmental Management of Shakarim University, met with young people and conducted explanatory work. Experts drew attention to the danger of spreading false information in the field of religion and emphasized the importance of using reliable sources of information

Also, during the lecture, students got acquainted with the concepts of "terrorism" and "extremism" and received information about their negative impact on society. During the lecture, which covered the issues of prevention of terrorist threats, observance of safety rules in public places and correct actions during an emergency, it was explained in detail to young people what actions should be taken in case of detecting suspicious objects or in the event of a terrorist threat.

During the meeting, students asked their questions and received appropriate answers. The event was aimed at increasing the religious literacy of young people, fighting against false information.
