A new step in veterinary medicine – a meeting of science and practice
Shakarim University hosted an important scientific event entitled “A New Step in Veterinary Medicine - the Merger of Science and Practice,” which gave impetus to the development of the field of veterinary medicine. At this meeting, university scientists, combining science and experience, discussed current issues in the field of veterinary medicine.
As part of the event, the official opening of the Dissertation Council for the educational program “8D091 Veterinary” took place. Also, in accordance with the working regulations of the Dissertation Council, the departmental preliminary defense of Elmira Abdullina’s dissertation on the topic “Epizootological monitoring and veterinary and sanitary measures for moraxcellosis of cattle in Eastern Kazakhstan” was organized, and the main directions and results of scientific research were presented.
During the meeting, scientific projects of doctoral students and postdoctoral students, implemented on the basis of grant funding, were presented. These projects demonstrated modern scientific research in the field of veterinary medicine and identified opportunities for its application in practice.
The scientific program included such current topics as epizootology, veterinary and sanitary safety, as well as innovative scientific approaches in animal husbandry. Participants had the opportunity to exchange opinions and share experiences in these areas.
“The main goal of this event, held at Shakarim University, is to differentiate the scientific potential of the university in connection with the opening of the Dissertation Council in the areas of veterinary medicine and veterinary sanitation within the framework of the educational program “Veterinary Medicine” at the Department of Veterinary Medicine,” noted the head of the Agrotechnopark Chingys Suleimenov.
According to him, the analysis of scientific potential was aimed at assessing the research capabilities of the teaching staff, the content of scientific projects and the level of the material and technical base. This, in turn, gives impetus to the training of qualified scientific personnel in the field of veterinary medicine and the development of domestic science.
The scientific meeting was attended by specialists from the veterinary service of the Abay region, representatives of farms, professors and university teachers, doctoral students and young scientists. The event was highly praised as an important step towards the development of veterinary science, supporting young scientists and strengthening the connection between science and industry.
