The Engineering Center is a modern research and educational platform of the university, where fundamental science meets applied developments. We create and implement advanced technologies in the fields of condensed matter physics, materials science, and mechanical engineering.

Our center includes the following laboratories:

• Laboratory of "Plasma Technologies for Surface Treatment of Materials"

• Laboratory of "Materials Science and Electrolyte-Plasma Technologies for Surface Modification of Materials"

Key Areas of Activity:

• Research and Development: Hardening and restoration of mechanical engineering components; application of radiation and plasma methods for material processing.

• Scientific and Technical Services: Mechanical and technological testing of materials, analysis of their structure and properties; providing practical solutions to enhance strength and extend the service life of components.

• Educational and Scientific Events: Organizing seminars, round tables, lectures, and masterclasses for students, young scientists, and university staff.

• Educational Outreach: Promoting engineering and materials science technologies; engaging students in research activities.
