Young researchers in the world of science

In the framework of the decade of science, Shakarim University hosted the X regional scientific conference "Shakarim studies" for school and college students.

A total of 134 young researchers from the city of Semipalatinsk, as well as from the districts of the Abay region participated in the large-scale scientific event and shared their knowledge and research.

Vice-rector for science of the university Zhanar Kalibekovyna opened the conference with a congratulatory speech and noted that increasing the interest of the young generation in science is one of the most important tasks of today. In his speech, he emphasized that such platforms play a big role in developing students' research abilities and choosing their future profession.

Participants presented the results of their scientific research in engineering, physical-mathematical, natural science, pedagogical and humanitarian areas.

The conference has traditionally provided an opportunity to develop the scientific potential of young researchers, increase their creative abilities, and strengthen the relationship between educational organizations and the university. The initial stage of selection was conducted on the basis of schools and colleges.

Within the framework of the event, for the first time, a mock-up competition called "From Idea to Model" was organized and showed the level of practical training of the participants.

Sectional works were evaluated by a qualified commission made up of professors of the university.

At the end of the conference, the participants recognized as the best were awarded with special diplomas and letters of thanks. Undoubtedly, such scientific meetings not only inspire young researchers, but also pave the way for them to step into great science.
