International Museum Day
May 18 - Day of the National Museum. It is an annual holiday held worldwide since 1977 by the decision of ICOM (International Council of Museums). Cultural events such as "Open Day", "Museum Night" will be held in museums on this day.
Today, several scientific and cultural events were held in "Shakarim Science Museum" near Shakarim University. One of them - the history of "Shakarim Science Museum" was widely introduced to the students of "Shakarim High School". Gulnur Shalatayovna, the chief specialist of "Shakarim Science Museum", gave a tour to the guests and explained that the museum consists of two halls, "Shakarim World" and "History of the University", and told about the value of the exhibits in each hall.
And the head of the "Shakarim Studies Center", honored figure of Kazakhstan, Turdykul Kasenuly, emphasized the place and meaning of the museum in human culture, and the propaganda power of the International Museum Day.
In general, in the last three years, Shakarim University has achieved great success in researching and promoting the personality and rich heritage of the classic Kazakh poet, scholar and thinker Shakarim.
If we name the factors that are popular at the domestic and international level, they are the following: the first of them is "Shakarim Scientific Museum". The main newspaper of the country, Egemen Qazaqstan, wrote a story about the museum near the university. In one day, his fame spread throughout the country. The Research Center for Sacrifice has been reopened. Scientific and educational magazine "Shakarim" began to be published again with high demand. Prominent scientists from all regions of the country began to be involved in this magazine as authors. News of Shakarim University is given priority in the magazine. The book "Rodnik po imeni Shakarim" dedicated to Shakarim's thinking was published in Moscow. "Shakarim" Kazakh-Chinese cultural research center was opened near Xi'an Jiaotong University of China. Work is being carried out in other cultural-scientific contexts.
