"Study in Kazakhstan" project - at Shakarim University
Study in Kazakhstan, one of the large-scale educational projects for applicants of the country, was held at Shakarim University. This initiative, which has been systematically implemented for three years, covers 14 cities of Kazakhstan this year. The main goal of the project is to comprehensively introduce applicants to the educational opportunities of leading higher educational institutions in the country and branches of foreign universities opened in Kazakhstan.
As part of the large-scale event, the participants had the opportunity to get detailed and accurate information about educational programs, state grants, admission requirements and features of the educational process.
About 40 higher educational institutions of the country are participating in today's exhibition held at Shakarim University. This important event for high school graduates of Abay region can be said to be a great opportunity for applicants.
The adviser to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ruslan Emelbaev, took part in the event and gave a detailed report on innovative initiatives in the field of higher education in the country.
- The organization of the "Study in Kazakhstan" project in Semipalatinsk is a unique step. This project was commissioned by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Its main goal is to open branches of leading foreign universities in Kazakhstan to enable domestic applicants to receive international education in their country. Today, extensive work has been done in this direction. More than 30 strategic partnerships have been established, and branches of foreign higher educational institutions are being opened not only in Astana and Almaty, but also in the regions. Representatives of those branches are also participating in today's exhibition," he said.
Also, Ruslan Toktarbekuly noted that state grants are allocated for education in branches of foreign higher educational institutions. This is a great support for the free education of Kazakhstani youth according to international standards.
During the exhibition, applicants not only got acquainted with educational institutions, but also witnessed various motivational meetings and useful advice. In particular, UNT expert, author of chemistry preparatory books, founder of "Dostyq Online" project Farkhat Sultabaev shared his experience on the topic "3 secrets that attract 95% of students to grants".
Karlygash Berekevna, a teacher-professorist of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, spoke on the topic "Choosing a profession with the heart" and explained to the graduates the importance of consciously choosing a future profession. He invited young people to choose a direction according to their abilities and interests, and emphasized the role of responsibility and inner confidence in making life decisions.
In general, the exhibition "Study in Kazakhstan" proved once again that it is an important platform that provides guidance and opens the way to new opportunities for applicants.
