“Dad, Mom, I am a sports family”

In honor of Family Day, a sports competition called “Dad, Mom, Me – a Sports Family” was held on the green field of the Shakarim University sports complex. 4 teams from different departments took part in the competition: “Samgau”, “Alga”, “Food tim” and “Kubyzhyktar”.

Participants competed in eight exciting relay races and games: they collected balls, passed the “three boards” test, popped balls and completed tasks inside, ran in bags, and also had to, while holding a chip, make 10 revolutions and continue the distance.

Each test, in which first the father participated, then the mother, and then the child completed the relay, required speed, attentiveness and accuracy, causing great interest and excitement among the audience.

– This is an annual sporting event. It is not only dedicated to Family Day, but also promotes a healthy lifestyle. Four teams from four departments took part in the competition. The winners will be awarded. In the future, we also invite everyone to actively participate in such sports games,” said the organizer of the competition, coach of the Shakarim University sports club Tileuzhan Omarov.

According to the results of calculating the points assigned by the panel of judges, the Samgau team took first place. The second place went to the “Kubyzhyktar” team, and the third place went to the “Food tim” team. The Alga team was awarded the Active Family nomination. All winners were awarded valuable prizes.
